Dear Santa,

My name is Jonnie and I am nearly eight years old because my birthday is very near Christmas. I have tried really hard to be a good boy this year. School is going really well and my favourite subject is history.

I always try to do my homework when my Mummy asks me to. My piano lessons are going very well and I had my grade 1 exam and, Santa, I think I passed it. I am playing Rudolph the red nosed reindeer in the school Christmas assembly. I hope Rudolph far from minds!

For Christmas I would really like a notebook with my name on it. I am learning to play chess with my dad so I would really love a chess table and some nice chess pieces. I know this would be difficult for your elves to make but I would really like it if they could try.

If possible, could I also have a HEXBUG Nano set that glows and the Angry Birds Splat Strike game? I know that’s quite a lot, but if I am really good, and you can manage it, please may you also get me a new globe because my old one is broken to bits, and a pair of four wheel roller boots that are size 13-3 (UK size please).

I know this letter is from me, but as she can’t write, my dog Rags would like a squeaky chew toy and some doggie treats.

I’ll leave you out a mince pie and some Guinness (my dad says that you like this better than milk) and some water and carrots for your reindeer just in case you all get hungry on your journey.

Lots of love,
