Makedo Mega-Modelling Making at the London Transport Museum
Saturday 8 December-Sunday 9 December

Take part in building a giant cardboard sculpture made out of household junk. Visit the museum this weekend with an armful of up-cycled materials such as cereal boxes, plastic containers, foam and fabric scraps to make whatever your imagination desires. No scissors, glue or tape may be allowed in the making of the sculpture. Makedo’s clever connectors and safe-saws may be supplied. Children are able to also enjoy junk-modelling workshops, led by top UK cardboard artist, Lottie Smith.

Little Charley Bear aims to be appearing live on stage in his own magical Christmas adventure for the whole family to enjoy. From the much loved children’s CBeebies series, Little Charley Bear uses his imagination to go on adventures and discover new things about himself and the world around him. Enjoy songs, games and laughter this Christmas in this fun and festive show, as Little Charley Bear is joined by all his friends Caramel, Bellarina, Frozo, Midge, Nibblit, Rivet. Santa aims to  also make a special guest appearance.

Chocolate Class in a Museum

Christmas Tree chocolate decoration
Sunday 9 December

Decorate your very own chocolate Christmas Tree with glorious goodies and tasty treats. Head chef at Café Twit, Kate, aims to be on hand to provide tips on how to make your tree just as whipple-scrumptious as any chocolate product from Willy Wonka’s Factory. Afterwards, why not treat yourself at the café with a hearty soup of the day from the cauldron and a whizzpopper hot chocolate (topped up with raspberry coulis, Maltesers and whipped cream galore)?
