Daniela Brooker is a debut British artist who is currently making mighty waves in the Latino market

With over half a million hits across Vevo and Youtube, 10,000 followers on Twitter, and an impressive fully-booked Stateside media tour, plus countless live performances alongside the likes of The Saturdays; this talented artist is set to take the nation by storm as she releases her debut album, P.S 29th July, preceded by her debut single, Breath’ on 15th July.  She’s also on-track to be one of the UK’s biggest musical exports to the US as the likes of CNN, El Diario, Cosmopolitan and Telemundo all clamber to be one of the first to feature Daniela Brooker in their interviews and fashion shoots.

First the voice:  Rich, expressive and soulful, delivering melodic tones well beyond her years, Daniela has the ability to mesmerize from her first note; with audiences instantly in awe that her tender years can produce such an opulent vocal quality.  Daniela’s ‘sound’ is a unique cocktail of all her childhood musical influences mixed into one. Pop, soul and Americana all fuse together in the Brooker melting-pot and, when seasoned by a generous pinch of her talent, the result is undeniably delicious.

At just 19-years of age, Londoner Daniela Brooker is a young girl with a massive voice and a determination so dogged that she has never accepted second best.  This starlet has been making music for over a third of her young life, all she wanted to do was sing, write, record, and perform. Everything else went out the window.  By the age of 12 she had written her first song, she made her recording debut when she was 13 and by the age of 15 she was hanging out at studios, working with producers and developing her ‘sound’. By 18 years old, Daniela had already wracked-up over 100 live gigs, performing all over London and beyond. Some of those shows were supporting The Saturdays – night after night – as well as an impressive slot at Hard Rock Café’s 2011, Pinktober tour.

Born to a British father and a Venezuelan mother, bi-lingual Daniela sprinkles her live sets with Spanish-language classics such as ‘Contigo En La Distancia’, by Juan Carlos, and hopes to record a Spanish version of her forthcoming album in the near future.  This has captured the attention of the Latino market in the US, resulting in a 2013 spring media tour across New York and Miami, where the Latino media throw their glimmering spotlight onto our great British export.

Talented, tenacious and determined, Daniela Brooker means business as she leaps from the live circuit into recorded format with the release of her debut album, ‘P.S’. When asked what her fall-back plan is if the music career doesn’t work out, she has just one response, “I don’t have one. It has to work,” her smile conveying both youthful excitement and steely determination.
