Delicious handmade pasta dishes have come to London’s Fleet Street in the form of ‘cuisine on the move’. Gino D’Acampo has launched his awesome My Pasta Bar where there is not only pasta with handmade sauces but also real antipasti, healthy salads, sweet pastries, speciality bread and, of course, real Italian coffee.

D’Acampo is the well-known Italian chef and television personality and his pasta on the move is a reflection of his great work and attention to detail. All the dishes presented at My Pasta Bar are really authentic and there are many options of pasta from which the customer can choose.

Dishes like Fettuccine Salmone or Penne Pomodoro are very interesting and defy your expectations, as all the pasta is handmade and the customer can definitely detect the taste of well-picked ingredients. There is uncooked pasta, parmigiano and olive oil everywhere in the restaurant and you can smell the aromas from the kitchen wherever you go. The huge kitchen doors are almost calling you to come across and see what is happening in there.

The portion sizes are enormous and the taste of the pasta will thrill you more than you thought pasta can. Arancini, traditional rice balls filled with beef and peas, give you a great vision of what you can expect next, as it is considered as a starter. Arancini can be eaten as an Italian-style snack and My Pasta Bar also offers a version with spinach, cheese and fine toasted breadcrumbs suitable for vegetarians.

Fresh and healthy salads are available as well and the menu offers plenty of variations. Insalata Bufalina – a salad consisting of French beans, semi-dried tomatoes topped with feta and baby mozzarella, and finished with lemon dressing – is just one of the stand out choices, but there is also a crayfish salad with grilled artichoke hearts topped with honey and mustard dressing that is definitely worth trying.

Even though My Pasta Bar is mainly offering take away food, you can also stay in its

restaurant and enjoy your meal there. The atmosphere is brilliant with smiling people everywhere, while the smells from the kitchen serve to make you hungrier and hungrier. Meanwhile, the radio tuned to authentic Italian stations almost take you directly into the heart of Italy.

My Pasta Bar is a really good choice when you are on the move but still want to have really fresh food with perfect ingredients and delicious tastes for a good price.
